Carolin PoweleitCarolin Poweleit, born in Berlin, completed her training as a biological/chemical technical assistant in 2002. She then studied food chemistry at the Technische Universität Berlin and obtained a degree as state-certified food chemist. Her subsequent employment at ifp in 2009 in the field of research and development and later in project management (head of testing) have qualified her for a management position in the field of testing and analysis at ifp. Since November 2014 she has been supporting the management as authorized signatory. From 2016 to August 2022, she worked together with Dr Wolfgang Weber, the founder of ifp, as the second managing director. She has been the executive director of the company since September 2022.
