Information on current situation

The ifp Institut für Produktqualität was recognised and classified as a systemically important company by the Treptow-Köpenick health authority of Berlin on 20.03.2020.

What does this mean?

Since ifp, as a laboratory service provider for the food, drinking water and pharmaceutical industries, carries out a large number of tests, we are thus doing our part to the current situation and thus ensuring the basic supply of the population.

As an accredited laboratory, we were able to take quick action to protect our employees and their families.

For example:

  • an internal crisis team was established,
  • employees were trained and sensitized,
  • the hygiene of the hands was reinforced,
  • layers are shifted to minimize contact and
  • Employees with office activities were outsourced to the home office

In the event of infection, security zones would be established to ensure that the analyses were backed up.

We try our best to ensure the health and safety of our staff. In addition, it is our top priority to ensure that our usual service is available to you.

Thanks to the measures taken so far, we are fortunately able to continue to offer you our service without any restrictions. Should you have any questions in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The ifp Newsletter
