ifp Institut für Produktqualität offers a comprehensive range of mycotoxin analyses. The sample is homogenized, extracted, and subsequently purified using immunoaffinity columns (IAC) with specific antibodies.

Specific monoclonal antibodies are coupled to the gel bed of the columns. These bind the mycotoxins with high affinity and they are then eluted with a solvent. The result is a high-purity extract. Separation is then performed with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and fluorescence or UV detectors or mass spectrometry.
